CU CHI HALF DAY TOUR BY SPEEDBOAT (GROUP TOUR)

07:00.  Meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby. Transfer to Bach Dang Pier. Embark on a speedboat to Cu Chi. Views of the riverbank will change from the daily hustle and bustle of city life to lush jungle. You will be served a light breakfast of sandwiches or pastries, fresh tropical fruits and Vietnamese iced coffee (ca phe sua da), as your guide explains about rural traditions and life on the river.

Reach the Cu Chi Tunnels site before the majority of larger bus tours arrive. Watch a brief documentary film about the Cu Chi area, then explore the tunnel complex, which includes weapons and booby trap exhibitions; navigate authentic Viet Cong tunnels, visit various underground bunkers (that would have been used as kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions store, etc.), a firing range and much more. Sample local cassava root the food that had sustained the Viet Cong fighters.

11:00. Enjoy a delicious traditional Vietnamese lunch by the river, of fried spring rolls, chicken, beef dishes, and soup. 

13:00. After lunch return to Saigon by speedboat.  Arrive back at Bach Dang Pier. Transfer to your hotel in Saigon.
