Cambodia Classic Tour: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap 7 days 6 nights

Upon your arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, collect your luggage process through custom. Your private tour guide and driver will be waiting for you outside the baggage claim/ custom area to transfer you in a private vehicle to the hotel in downtown.

While every effort is made to have your room available upon arrival, check in time is at 02:00pm; your room may or may not be ready before this time. Your tour guide will provide additional details regarding your stay, and you will be able to ask any questions you may have.

The rest of the day is at leisure.

Overnight in Phnom Penh. 

After breakfast at hotel, we are going to visit Royal Palace built in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom, is the most conspicuous feature and also one of impressive colourful Khmer-style Palaces and then we carry on to Throne Hall and Silver Pagoda (The Emerald Buddha temple), display plenty of Buddha Statues that were decorated and made by diamond, emerald, gold and silver.

And then we carry to see Toul Sleng Genocidal Museum called ( S-21 ) was the most secret organ of the Khmer Rouge regime. S-21 stands for "Security Office 21." was Angkar's premier security institution, specifically designed for the interrogation and extermination of anti Angkar elements and then we continue to see
Cheung Ek Museum called ( Killing Field ) between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and infants detained and tortured at S-21 prisonwere transported to the extermination camp of Choeung Ek.

Afternoon, we start the tour to visit .Cyclo ride, where you can see Independent Monument in Phnom Penh,capital of Cambodia, was built in 1958 for Cambodia's independence from France in 1953. It stands on the intersection of Norodom Boulevard and Sihanouk Boulevard in the centre of the city. It is in the form of a lotus-shaped stupa, of the style seen at the great Khmer temple at Angkor Wat and other Khmer historical sites. The Independence Monument was designed by the influential Cambodian modern architect Vann Molyvann,  Post Office, French Colonial Old Building and continue to Wat Phnom is a Buddhist temple (Wat) located in Phnom enh, Cambodia. It was built in 1373, and stands 27 metres above 
the ground. It is the tallest religious structure in the city and then carry on to Phsar Thom Thmey Market. Turn back your hotel.

Overnight in Phnom Penh. 

After breakfast at hotel, check out the hotel.

Then, transfer to the airport for the first flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. 

Upon arrival, the driver will be welcoming you at the airport. Transfer to the hotel and check in your hotel (check-in time at 14:00). Relax at your hotel.

Overnight in Siem Reap. 

After breakfast at 08:00 am, we start to see Angkor Wat is visually architecturally and artistically breathtaking, it is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by five lotus like Towers rising 65 meters from ground level.

And then we carry on to Angkor Thom (the great Capital) with 9 Square Kilometers and was the last Capital of the Angkorian Empire. After Jayavarman VII recaptured the Angkorian Capital from the Cham invaders in 1181. The King began a massive building campaign across the empire constructing Angkor Thom as his new Capital City with existing structure such as Bayon (Four Smiling Faces), Baphoun, Phimean Akas and Royal Palace, The Leper King and Elephant Terrace.

Have a local lunch. 
Afternoon, we are going to see Ta Prohm (Jungle Temple)massive fig and Silk-cotton trees grow from the Towers and Corridors offering a Jungle atmosphere. Turn back your hotel. 

Overnight in Siem Reap. 

After breakfast at hotel, we are going to see Banteay Srey loosely translates to “Citadel of the Women” but this is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the caving deep and much detail made of pink sandstone.

Tthen we carry on to see Preah Khan Temple is a huge,  highly explorable monastic Complex. photo opportunities, it originally served as a Buddhist monastery and school. Preah Khan means“Sacred Sword” in harmony with the architecturally similar Ta Prohm. Enjoy local lunch. 

 Afternoon, we are going to see Neak Poan ( The budhist temple located in the middle of Jayatakatak “ The reservoir dug during the reign of the king Jayavarman XII ” served as the hospital. The last we are going to Ta Som is a small temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built at the end of the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII. It is located north east of Angkor Thom and just east of Neak Pean. The King dedicated the temple to his father Dharanindravarman II (Paramanishkalapada). The temple consists of a single shrine located on one level and surrounded by a moat and enclosure laterite walls. Like the nearby Preah Khan and Ta Prohm thetemple was left largely unrestored, with numerous trees and other vegetation growing among the ruins.

Overnight in Siem Reap

After breakfast at 08:00 am, we are going to see Kampong Phluk is a cluster of three villages of stilted houses built within the floodplain of the Tonle Sap Lake about 16 km southern of Siem Reap.

The villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3000 inhabitants between them. Flooded mangrove forestsurrounds the area and  is home to variety of wildlife including crab-eating macaques. During the dry season when the lake is low, the buildings in the villages seem to soar atop their temporary stilted houses. In the wet season when the water level rises again the villagers movback to their permanent houses on the floodplain, the stilts now hidden under the water. Kampong Phluk’s economy is, as one might expect, based in fishing, primary in shrimp harvesting.
